KB distributorship in Indonesia reopened

In a recent development, Yumei Mise, the company who developed the KB GlutaNAC brand announced that its distributorship in Indonesia has been reopened and that the company has started entertaining offers from distribution companies.

This announcement came as the brand’s erstwhile distributor from Indonesia was relieved owing to several violations in the distributorship agreement. According to a company spokesperson, these violations in the agreement may tarnish the reputation of the KB Brand which the company painstakingly took care of for nearly seven years.

“KB has built up a good name through the years by establishing consumer trust,” says the company spokesperson, “we are bound by our loyalty to our clients to protect their trust in the brand. We must do our utmost not to endanger this wonderful relationship we have with our clients.”

One of the issues that led to the relief of the distributor was line pricing. Upon an independent investigation conducted by the company, the former distributor for Indonesia did not abide by the company’s standard of consistent pricing for KB, erratically changing the price of KB in Indonesia with the last price change saw pegged at an unreasonably high price. What makes this incident more alarming is that this price hike came as the company also learned that the distributor started handling a competing brand.
